D. J. Doogley and the Vague Pagoda are from a motion picture film project
known as the Dain Bread Piknik.

D. J. Doogley is a fictitious character.
He is an alien from the Planet Pardu and an assistant to Professor Glee.
He encounters earthling Freak Samor during one of Freak's visits to Pardu.

Freak and Doogley decide to make their home base planet earth. Together they buy
an old Blues Nite Club on Chicago's South Side on the edge of China Town.
The re-decorated club is named the Vague Pagoda.

Freak and Doogley become close friends sharing a common love for music, magic and money.
They form a partnership known as Dain Bread U.S. and begin marketing and distributing
Manna and New Millenium Bread on Planet Earth and the Heavenly Hosts across the Galaxy.

These food items are a bread like product made from a grain known as Dain
which grows abundantly on the Planet Pardu and sub atomically processed
by a technique developed by Professor Glee.

With the added revenues generated from successful growth, the original Vague Pagoda is torn down
and the new Grand Pagoda is erected on the site.
